I prefer to quote the Canon Description:
A3 + wireless printer for photo lab quality printing at home
The target market is therefore the "normal" science, not a graphics studio or similar ..
Compare the Canon with a genuine professional printer would be a bit unfair.
For the home user, the space requirement is quite important ...
W * H * T in cm
60 * 50 * 84
That's the place that you need, if anything is to survive and you want to operate the unit well.
The commissioning takes place very simple and as common now is a lot of drivers and software installed.
Somewhat annoying is the Canon Quick Menu, which takes up quite a lot of space on the screen, you can disable it, but so that it does not always mitstartet with Windows.
I recommend the printer during the initial installation to connect via USB to the computer.
Once you have the WLAN Parameter then entered, you can operate the printer via WLAN.
An installation directly via wireless did not work with me and will probably work with any Wi-Fi router, which is also just a bit hedged.
The printing results:
For me personally, the best printer I've ever had, I'm thrilled.
Even black / white printouts succeed very well by the additional gray ink.
The Borderless printing works well, but some ink messes up the Canon on paper beginning in some types of paper at the edge.
When setting the function in the driver, however, pointed out.
The correct type of paper I have therefore also yet to be found.
For a printer in this price range, the result is really very close to it on the screen and the expectation that you have the expression.
I have tried other paper sizes:
Everything from A3 to 10 * 15 adopted and feeding correctly the Canon.
Your printer is delivered with a tray with which you can print on printable CD / DVD Media directly.
My Conclusion: 5 stars
