At the time of my purchase was unfortunately no customer reviews before because I always read through this himself next to the test descriptions on the Internet before buying and I often have a decision-making tool, I get the hereby by itself. The Lian Li PC-B16 case definitely deserves a good review, because here was pleasing much really well done.

Everyone who has dealt with some time with PC cases, know that their number is almost unmanageable and the search for the optimal housing for me
was not easy and considerably more time-consuming than, for example, to find the election CPU or an efficient matching power supply.

My old, cramped and assembled with low-cost solutions Ready PC housing has me always limited in expansion and retrofitting measures
and in no small part motivated for the first PC DIY.

To build a silent PC with neat power reserves was my goal and a high-quality PC case with now as much space beneath the big tower class was a minimum requirement for the desired package.

When selecting the components of PC I tried also in advance unnecessary problems during assembly dispel.
In the final selection was the "Fractal Design Define R4" housing, which is also good grades were added to test constantly.
Here, however, I read several problems with not clean predrilled threads for mainboard spacers and the front door (hinges) of the Define R4 should not be a hit.
When Lian Li All spacers are pre-assembled. In addition, the steel construction of the fractals weighs 10 kilos same time and somehow it gave me more like the aluminum Shear connectors of Lian Li.

The 3 pre-installed case fans of the brand Jamicon I replaced gradually by three 120mm Noctua NF-P12 PWM because presumably cheap Jamicon fan always made themselves unpleasantly audible as individual components, especially if the ventilation turned up under load. Then all was quiet.

The magnetically mounted air filter for the 2 front fan is easy to remove and clean, but you have this remove the front side, which was incidentally solved simply and prima. For the air filter under the power supply fan section must tilt the housing slightly to pull out to him, also goes well.

The Lian Li has supported me perfectly at the first PC-assembling by its plainness and fit.
