I ordered this item to be added SSDs and SATA in my case, all 3.5 locations being already occupied. Very nice metal manufacturing quality. Easily fits in a 5 1/4 location and allows you to add 6 2.5 inch hard drives. Three positions for the fan: Nothing, Low, High.
The fan is very quiet in position "Medium", which is very suitable. A little noisy "High" however.

A bit expensive though.
