Under these circumstances, therefore I wanted to an AV receiver, the
a) has a good sound (for an amateur music connoisseurs)
b) is also not averse to connect to the Internet and the associated streams and therefore you do not constantly have to be a PC or a tablet running next to it.
and
c) corresponding wealth of connections offers (HDMI, RCA etc.)
and then I remembered this very Onkyo on when I was looking for me by a market of electrical wholesaler. Home I then perused the recessions here on Amazon and decided because of this (and the price) for this device me.
Order problems
Amazon delivery typically within a few days ...
Unpack, connect ... and yet it is almost going on. Namely, first, the relevant inputs must be assigned properly. It also does not hurt that it also prints out to the user. It belongs now to the "good" sound that you have the print out.
Then, when everything is in place - which is slightly out of hand - then is an excellent (my feeling) AV receivers available. And for the uncertain future are also still enough HDMI inputs and other connectivity options available
A big plus is certainly that of Onkyo's firmware also can even search the internet. And once integrated into the home network, can also be accessed via web browser on the receiver to eg. His favorite Internet radio to manage.
Who wants also has the ability to control the device partially through his tablet or smartphone (installed app required). Sense question now times left out. Because of Onky can be at all using the OSD menus operate (the design of the menu rather serves the purpose and less to the eye ...)
The internet radio works great in itself. Local channels are offered through a dedicated menu and therefore saves you doing the looking. In addition to the vTuner Onkyo also offers other streaming services that depend on the countries availability again. Services from Live365 are not directly supported. The then really only works on the above mentioned earlier favorites management via Web client.
All in all I am full praise for this device. For an average Joe Remote gazers certainly recommended.
The only really negative point of criticism concerns (what me then moved to 4-stars) then the Internet radio. For whatever reason, the title display is not supported. Who wants to find that title because now runs there, which in turn is dependent on a tablet or a PC to look up on the playlist page of each radio station. But (without having currently available for Onkyo demand times) I hope for a firmware update ... and maybe also Live365 lets so then once integrated. An evil rogue who thinks of planned obsolescence ;-)
