Depending on the settings and environmental parameters (esp. Temperature) 450-800 shots with my D800 (only fixed focal length = without VR, no built-in flash and maßvollem LiveView) are good, but compared to the EN EL3e my D700 also significantly fewer trips. Min. 700 trips I get there by 28-300er (always with switched VR) and occasional use of the flash. Ultimately, the product is no alternative and the whole package is still consistent. Strong buy recommendation!
