I based on comments from other buyers to make my choice despite some negative comments.
The installation is not so complicated if recovering the PDF guide at the site of FOSCAM and there is a FAQ to set the browser to allow ActiveX is going well.
FYI I am using Windows 8.1 Enterprise x64 and after activating 2/3 settings, access the camera works perfectly.
Some comments evoked a poor image quality. I was amazed by the quality of the video (live) day and night (the range is smaller but very effective to 20/30 meters).
Access via Wireless is perfect, my wifi router (Netgear WDR3700-100 PES) is in the house (fairly thick walls), the camera on a shed wall 20/25 meters.
The only flaws, triggering shots after motion detection is super sensitive and rain triggers this mechanism and fixing that is firm I would have preferred a thicker arms.
