Very good cable extension jakc 3 contacts, but not compatible jack 4 contacts

a professional-looking cable, carried out carefully, and very resistant thanks to its nylon sheath. Just be aware of the consequent diameter and rigidity of the cable that make it cumbersome or disproportionate to most of the original cables helmets.

2 / 1st catastrophic listening test,
I plugged the cord between my Sennheiser Momentum headphones cable and the headphone jack of my amp (connected to the TV), and made the same observation unfortunately certain other buyers, that is, its totally attenuated and noisy with a sense of multiple sources that mix them short unlistenable.
Same problem by plugging headphones into the headphone extension cord + so my i-pad, but connecting the headset directly without the extension it works perfectly!

3 / Reinstatement of a (very) good operation,
After my disappointment, and after examining the connections, I realized that the cable from my helmet had a 4-pin jack (compatible i-phone, with remote on / off and level of its integrated), while the cord with a 3-pin jack side only male, and therefore - I Image - 3 contact only as female side.
With my helmet with another cable with 3-pin jack (without remote i-phone / i-pad) I put it in place and redid the test the extension.
This time, everything works perfectly, there is no noticeable degradation of sound with the extension.
For this purpose the value for money is really excellent.

Conclusion: a very good product used extension cable with a jack to 3 contacts, but not compatible with the 4-pin jacks (short-circuiting the contacts 3 and 4). So 5 or 1 star (s) as required of each!
For my part, I put 4 * because of incompatibility with Jack 4 contacts should be reported in the product description.
