It is made of plastic and can easily be stowed to cabinet (takes up little space away).
He also has no sharp edges we have a different ring of metal. Thus, no risk of injury.
Attaching the ring is pretty easy and you can do it super, fix with the supplied "clasp".
This "clip" is also the only thing I have to complain about. I think that this can easily be lost or other household members than any piece of plastic is viewed and thus easily ends up in the garbage.
The loosen the frozen pie works fine and the ring can also be easily cleaned. I think there is no problem even by dishwasher. Only I would wash it not necessarily there because I fear that it could become deformed.
The height of the ring is far enough for my purposes.
