Positives:
- Very good high-resolution image (as opposed to cheap Webcams)
- Trouble-free continuous operation outdoors
- Easy to set up.
- Configuring motion detection reliably and well.
- Mechanical switch for the day / night mode works flawlessly and provides true color images! TOP!
- In WiFi (through a wall and about 20 meters air) as well as via the network cable problem-free operation.
Negatives:
- The nightly IR lighting could be brighter. Here I have but I made do with an external GU10 infrared light.
- The wireless antenna you would in "copper-operation" (with network cable) Unscrew and can be provided with a watertight closure. Instead, always hangs the wireless antenna off although you do not need)
General:
I now have two of these cameras in my Synology Surveillance Station and would buy it again. They are not the cheapest, but still worth the money. Especially the reliability is at "security cameras" for me the most important.
Motion recognition directly in the camera and on the Synology Surveillance Station without problems.
