Have bought the camera because I was looking for an alternative to Panasonic LX3. The camera makes a solid impression. The excellent workmanship and the noble metal housing produce a quality feel. The image quality is very good and the colors are reproduced faithfully. All functions can also be adjusted manually. The fast wide-angle lens and large 1.7 inch sensor are more outstanding camera features. In some reviews the complicated menu system is criticized. I think she has a simple design from concept a little different and when you have become accustomed to the usability is very good. The attachable lens cap I find ok at least it guarantees an excellent protection of the lens. The display is rotating and swiveling, super sharp and very contrasty.
Some negative criticisms are still noted.
The movie mode is unconvincing - not HD - which is not up to date. One problem with the USed sensor. Compared with the LX3, the battery is not as durable, they can not avoid a second battery. The battery indicator is cheating a bit, making the jump from half full "that's it" to take about 10 photos. It is not supplied charger, the battery is charged directly to the camera via network or USB. A between times charging the second battery is thus impossible. Who can live with it but gets a camera especially a can - shooting great photos.
