The build quality is at a high level and there were only high-quality, stable plastics.
The charging status indicator LEDs is self-explanatory.
However, there is neither discharge nor refresh function, but that did not bother me because anyway only Ni-MH batteries must be charged.
The accusation that the charger would sort out non-Duracell batteries, I can not confirm because there are far worse candidate. I use mainly eneloops of Sanyo, they are accepted without any problems. Also batteries from other manufacturers can be - if they are in an acceptable condition - charging problems.
The maximum charge current of 550 mA is a bit low compared to many other products, but the batteries are charged more gently.
The only minor complaint is the input voltage of the charger. This is 15 volts and not - as usual - at 12 volts. Thus, it is not readily possible to connect the charger directly to the cigarette lighter.
For this, however, I prefer from No Star because it is device-specific and should not be more relevant for most users.
Overall, a high quality, easy to use charger with a top price-performance ratio.
