It much not easy at all the offers to find a high-quality classical guitar for my 6 year old niece. Stagg has been building more than 100 years of musical instruments, ie one of the long-established luthiers. The instrument makes a solid impression, is meticulously crafted and the action is very good, does not require rework with file or something. Until the 12th fret, I can not detect any impurity of the frets, the sound of the small body is missing something, of course, bass what parents practicing children is certainly right ;-) It sounds balanced and warm, the tones are generated cleanly separated. Personally, I've been playing 25 years classical, blues etc, my Höfner I've shot for 45 strings and without having demolished bridge in the bay. See my picture for size comparison.
There is a 1/2 classical guitar for children, certainly not a toy! I'd rather do without delivery (cheap spare strings, guitar unpadded bag etc.) and get a higher quality instrument, as that I get anything resolved, the kid's but the desire to make music lose because the guitar is not good. For the 52 Stagg is very reasonably priced, with the best of what Amazon has to offer. Highly recommended!
