I must refer to the manufacturer's site for the exact product information.
Personal experiences:
Appearance:
The Velvet acts by the handle rather cheap and very powerful at first glance.
Haptics / processing:
For the price I would have expected more high-tech materials. The build quality is good on the whole. The rubberized grip fits comfortably in your hand. The inputs and Ausschaltring has for my taste a little too much play.
The grinding roller cover fits snugly, but to arrest were used to small barbs, so that these drops during transport in a pocket. I have a feeling here that you wanted to fit an Magnetarretierung and has forgotten the magnet.
Callus removal:
When removing the cornea of the Velvet is outstanding.
I use it once a week and my feet feel very cared for. In addition, I use every 2nd - 3rd day the Balsa Schrundenschaum because my other creams are too oily.
As I previously used a Callus file, it was initially a big change to use the Velvet. The Velvet grinds much finer and one should avoid pressure (with too much pressure, the motor stops for safety reasons).
Energy consumption:
Four batteries are now really no longer appropriate. Other manufacturers are coming out with two batteries. Thus, even the handle would streamline something.
Since the purchase and use of about 10 minutes, we have not yet need to replace batteries. Here I am pleasantly surprised and would have expected more consumption.
Cleaning:
After each use, we clean the roller under running water.
Conclusion:
The callus removal is very good and gentle, the hoped-for relief from the care is given. For the Velvet it speaks that there are spare wheels in the drugstore. A BUY recommendation I still may be limited, since the Velvet has not convinced me in every respect.
