To the map:
It's technically a KNC-One DVB-C card, or identical with this. But just cheaper and without the video in which the KNC-One. Who's need ......
The installation of the PCI card went quickly (probably individually for each). The installation of the driver was also afloat.
The supplied program MystiqueTV player is so so, là là.
I had huge problems and wanted to return again until the card because I had only error messages, crashes, etc. Could not make out what it was there.
But I got very quick help in DVBshop24 forum where I was then helped :-))
I made this card for the time being only as ordered to test how the TV works Glotzerei per PC. So for the time being incorporated in my older PC.
That does not go on this old system HDTV, is clear to me. On my other PC Core2Duo but because HDTV is going great!
Now I can order my favorite components for my HTPC and get started.
I then made whole hog and me another, recommended by many program installed (DVBviewer) and what I can say?
The map is a sheer delight! Even with SD signal (PAL) good picture (good signal strength).
No more crashes and error messages. All good.
The channel search was time min. A hundred times faster. When supplied program dauertes to 3 hours. With DVBviewer just 5 minutes!
You can even optionally buy a CI module, in which then a CAM module with smartcard is inserted.
You can then watch PayTV, the right subscription, of course.
With the CAM module you have to inform beforehand, because every provider has a different encryption system and not each CAM module matches each card.
But many users have confirmed that various PayTV encryption systems / provider with the respective matching CAM's just work with the Mystique CaBiX-C2 DVB-C HDTV PCI without problems.
My party was also doing :-)
That's why I bought the card.
Hope that this report can help some to find themselves in the DVB-C PCI TV cards Jungle cope.
With the card you have no problems.
Oh !!
And what was also decisive that I have bought this card:
- Very short switching times !!
That's not the case with other cards!
So be careful, because there are 2 types of cards. There are large differences in the switching times.
