I return a few months later to edit my review after several months of use:
Regarding the device, beautiful finish and beautiful design, it really is a beautiful object, love it or not like the vintage look, personally I love it.
strengths:
- So great design
- Good grip for the camera's size
- Optical viewfinder information: focus, aperture, shutter speed.
- Compact and lightweight: I mostly use my camera while traveling or on the move with the SLR and it was just not possible. There, you slip into your suitcase, your handbag, or you keep it around the neck, there really is no problem.
- Quality optics and light. Super render pictures and quilted EXCELLENT.
-several modes including a really stunning panorama mode, great for landscape photos
- Manual zoom, for me it was important, much more accurate than digital zoom
weak points:
- Viewfinder that covers only part of the field. there is a gap between what is seen in the viewfinder and what the camera actually takes pictures. It's been a strange effect at the beginning but hey, you get used to it, and the digital vision is to check (in the end, I realized that I use a lot more digital vision viewfinder, but it's still there although it is in some cases.)
- Much less powerful battery than an SLR. In heavy use, let's say it takes 2d, 2d half ... compared to a good week on my SLR. Just make sure you anticipate and do not forget to reload.
Overall, therefore, very pleased with my purchase !! I even sold my 450D SLR, fuji x20 replaces all for the use that I made.
