The Ortofon Concorde Scratch has a really good groove resistance and thus also really good quality. For this it is almost impossible to cut this for scratch out of the grooves. Even with Timecode records that indeed have a recognizable shallower than normal disks, I use them now nurnoch for my Traktor Scratch Pro, since I switched a few years ago of Hip Hop plates on electric. The durability is outstanding. Have the systems used over 2 years ago bought the needles and still run without any problems, wear and tear are not recognizable. The disadvantages are that they allegedly by the high Rillenestigkeit have a slightly higher wear plate and the plates are scratched very quickly when Abrutchen. My 5-month-old tractor plates have despite all except for a few small scratches no Abnutzspuren. For grandmas old collector plates I would not use them in any case. Yet another drawback is the volume. They're pretty loud for a Concorde System. Most one notices this when the Timecode records, as these give only a Fiebton of itself. Today I had joined by my cousin the Digitrack which have been developed especially for timecode and was able to determine that these are only minimal quieter. Therefore, this is a shortcoming with which one can live ...
All in all a really good system, just as you would expect it from a Ortofon. I can use any of HipHop plates, like ma scratcht or timecode used recommend these systems. However, one should not let the other Ortofonsysteme ignore ...
