I am so far users a Samsung SSD 840 250 GB and have been replaced by this 500GB 850s EVO. I actually feel that everything is just a tad bit faster than before. After a benchmark test using the supplied software Samsung Magician has confirmed this feeling: it is fast ller actually about 20%, than my old 840. Highly Recommended by the way the included software Data Migration. This is potty cloning the system is running Windows possible - terrific! (I use Windows 7 64 bit).
Two tips:

1. When connecting the drive on a SATA adapter into the USB port not to use older adapters, it could happen otherwise that the drive is not recognized.
2. When the adapter is fine, allocate a partition in the Control Panel under Computer Management / Disk Management disk. Then the cloning is no more obstacles.
