We meet here with a Tomb Raider close to an Uncharted Drake's Fortune or Batman "Arkham" in style. There is no boredom minute. Phases climbing, acrobatics, fighting ... The dosage is set.
Graphically: graphics are well crafted, beautiful textures that without reaching the level of a PC are very pleasant. The environment and visual effects are relatively varied. Very fluid, no bugs.
Gameplay: very good habit Lara intuitively. The positioning of the character is automatically adjusted according varies by context (eg advances decreased during the discretion of phase). Depending on the equipment that we have some places will be available or not.
The equipment is modified depending on parts that are found rather well done without being too complicated.
Scenario: okay, no big surprises expected for the regulars of style but is rather well made.
Lifespan: count ten hours (it could have been longer thanks to the optional phases but no ... see below)
Lara: clearly we are treated to a female version of John Mcclane with hints of John Rambo ... Well, not in the visual aspect of course, neither of language (in this respect it is a pity that the liner "original" French Lara did not ensured the dubbing, but it remains anecdotal). It will be possible to add a number of skills to Lara, first essential then others closer to our style of play. The skills greatly based on combat used to change slightly the way to approach them (the final it always end in a bloodbath).
The disappointment of points:
- The game is not extremely difficult, even "hard" mode, but nothing alarming.
- Clearly oriented action puzzles (what little there is) are extremely low and are resolved in less than a minute.
- Phases "optional" say the tombs ... are expected to explore something with traps, enemies and puzzles ... well not a corridor, a room and a very basic puzzle (I put in the round round, square in the square ...) and that's it. Too bad ... Especially as a tomb to reveal any objects on the map to find what makes the thing suddenly a legendary ease ...
- Dynamite must consist of sand as much as it stings a mosquito ...
Multiplayer: not tested.
Conclusion: very good game 4.5 / 5.
For the price this is a must. Too bad the optional phases are so sloppy and that there was no puzzles to solve, for the rest it is faultless.
