After peeling several sites on Audio-Technica products, I decided for this one, I was interested in the aluminum shells, 53 mm transducers with neodymium coil, and especially by the frequency range, indeed, I do a bit of mastering sound for my group and I needed a good bass and sub-bass, 10Hz it kicking me, hey, 25000 HZ, for an adult ear, it's not really important beyond 13,000 Hz, one ear a little damaged by time and the noise, it often begins to be limited anyway ... So I was eager to try it, and I was not disappointed, I jumped on illico an old multi-track session and I immediately felt the difference with my old helmet (admittedly low-end to be honest) I could finally fix this problem trigging too big crate on this good sound systems, especially as I was limiting in 30-50 HZ for reinforcement, a little blindly, when the treble, cymbals me "break" a little less than before the ears ... I'd be curious to try the more upscale brand helmets, to see if there's an important differential price / quality of product with one ... I had the opportunity to try a lot of helmets in recent years, including DJ headphones or mastering, and frankly, it seems to me excellent workmanship ... Only slight remark, the leather is good, but for prolonged listening, it can give hot ears, that said, it is often the case with many other helmets for me ...
Conclusion, good product, not necessarily for every budget, even though it is a more affordable at Audio-Technica, but seriously worth an ear shot, in my humble opinion, certainly no regrets to this day .. .
