The handling of the lamp is very simple. There is a bright light level, a weaker light step and a flashing mode. The comfort is good. The lamp is nice and light (for example lighter than a GoPro) and thus does not wobble. The angle of the beam width can be adjusted by a scanning mode. I personally use the lamp on paths where no other light sources such as lanterns are available (eg jogging round in the forest) and therefore always use the largest stage. This is run in my opinion, to be sufficiently bright. Compared to my Sigma Power LED Evo which I for biking's use is the HEADLED 5 weaker many times. This would not be suitable for biking. The lamp keeps doing good 3 nightly rounds of loosely. After that I always change as a precaution the battery's.
