Unlike the G15, the G19 much slimmer, discreet and inconspicuous comes along. Initially a bit unusual but you get used to fast on the new look that pleases me very well.
The build quality is good, but not perfect and is the expensive price in my opinion not quite live.
This does not mean that the processing is bad, on the contrary, but I would here just opposite the G15 still expects a step forward and that is unfortunately not the case.
The keys have a very good tactile feedback allesammt, the writing feeling is very pleasant, only the spacebar might be a bit less chatter, but that's more of a common problem.
As with the G15, the illumination of the buttons again not 100% clean, which although does not bother, but as I said, for the price ???
Furthermore, the keys on the onscreen control unfortunately always lit orange, which I think is a shame and do not quite understand.
Otherwise, the freely customizable keyboard lighting is a really successful and great thing.
But I feel the light as a minimum tad weak.
Also you can Unignore keyboard illumination and display only together I find unattractive solved.
The quality of the display is good, fine resolution, good lighting, good brightness, good color, only the poor viewing angles are a bit disturbing.
But ingesammt an absolutely great thing here can be a thousand times more to start than with the simple display of the G15.
The software worked flawlessly and satisfactory to me.
Now for the really less beautiful things ...
The palm rest is absolutely cheap, fits neither the form nor the optics for G19. Moreover, it is really absolutely cheap plastic, which was slightly better, though not perfect since in the G15.
Even the cable of the keyboard consists of a thick, inflexible strand of ugly tortures himself over the table, which would have been better to solve!
Even worse, however, is that every time the power supply at high frequency whistling in my case the same for 2 supplies the G19 by Amazon when the computer was off. In the 2nd G19 even a pixel error was in the display, after which I have kept to a discount, the first G19.
The pipes may have become a little quieter, but still present.
Even with my MX Revolution Since I have the problem that I bought here 2 weeks, I will not shake the feeling that Logitech is committed to another, cheaper manufacturers here, a pity!
3 units, 3 times Whistling Power Supplies ??? Logitech respect I say because sometimes ...

Very good, visually beautiful keyboard with really nice gimmicks, good workmanship, pleasant writing sensation, albeit too expensive.

If you already have a G15 should consider whether to him, the display, the removable keyboard illumination and the lower space requirements of the G19 is worth the money, because here Qualitatively nothing has improved, but also does not deteriorate.
