Very good MFG!

I was looking for a quiet, reliable 4in1 sw Laser MFP can with networking capabilities, which has a neat multi-purpose tray and forward incoming faxes to e-mails.

After a long, intensive search & research my 3 favorites of Samsung SCX-4833FD, the Brother MFC-7860DW and the Canon i-Sensys were 5940dn.

The Canon was more expensive with around 100 EUR, the Brother did not have the multi-purpose tray (again only bypass tray), so my decision was made for the Samsung.

The network installation on Mac OSX 10.6.8 and Parallels WIN XP was easy and hassle free.

Pros:
+ Printers: fast, quiet, good prints, multi-purpose tray very practical.
+ Scanner: runs on Mac with "Image Capture" quite well, with its own program scan and fax manager, unfortunately not. On Windows, you can scan with the Easy Document Creator.
CopiersClassy: catchment and quality very good.
+ Fax: incoming faxes can be forwarded as e-mail, very convenient!
+ Very good price / performance ratio in the acquisition.
+ Printing costs: if the data given are correct, also with 1.5 per cent expressed very favorable in the cost of printing (Brother 2.5 cents, possibly located on the separate toner and drum unit Brother, in which Samsung is 1 unit).

Cons:
Disadvantages ode negative I could not find so far in 2 weeks.

I'm very satisfied with the Samsung and can recommend it without hesitation!
