I bought this for my FB Sony Alpha 57, with the compatible Sony cable version YP-870 / S1 (indicated in description under "color").
Something delayed delivery as from abroad (England), but I found nothing wrong, is yes it pointed at checkout.
Everything as described, including all batteries, the functionality is nothing to complain.:
+ In total. valent impression
+ Features all tested properly on camera
+ On / off switch on both FB and to recipients, saving battery
BUT:
the receiver socket (see picture), with which it is mounted on the hot shoe is designed for a standard hot shoe, but not for Sony / Minolta flash shoe. As you can see in the picture, the base of the receiver is square and flat. The Sony hotshoe but has at the center of a longitudinally oriented projection (Sony owners know what I mean), thus the receiver without an adapter does not fit the shoe - contrary to the product description in title in said purchased version. You need an adapter (also found on Amazon, for example of Hama).
Complained because not specified in the product description.
And at this point I must mention the support provided by the suppliers extremely positive:
understood very friendly contact, very helpful, problem. Ultimately I got refunded the purchase price the equivalent of an adapter. Kudos to this point!
Therefore, still 5 stars because the product itself is clearly recommended!
