Very good neat little hub, kept rates. RJ 45 and more.

With only two USB 3.0 jacks on my post office who were both taken by two external drives, this small hub saves 2 additional USB 3.0 ports without adding controller board inside of the computer.
Transferring photos or SLR HD video and, on the go, backup memory cards on the laptop are the main uses of the hub.
Her little more, the RJ45 socket will be useful if for example your post nen not have or, more likely if your RJ45 socket was damaged by a repeat plugging / unplugging or some "uprooting" of son a little "wild". Or abroad or sometimes the material used is old and shows quune RJ45 connection is required and missing.
The packaging is perfect (in French manual, CD driver for the RJ45, extended warranty), the hub design is neat, brushed aluminum, reminiscent of some portable Mac products. The position of USB ports that can connect quon 3 large keys (type kingston R3 or hyperX or SD card with its imposing adapter) without overflowing on the side dà taken, very convenient.
Only complaint before my small flow tests, the cord length (40cm just) is probably perfect nomadic but less practical use for home use (if your USB 3.0 ports are on the front no problem but in some configurations this may be just). Note the connecting cable is crimped to the hub so no possible replacement by a longer one.
I tested at the flow rates (CheckFlah and Crystal Disk) a minimal loss of 1.5% in reading and 2.5% in writing (semi pro equipment whatsoever for key usb kingston or photo memory cards sandisk). Very therefore acceptable.

In the end this little hub is admittedly a bit more expensive than its competitors but he defended well (assembly, design, connectors, stored flows, extended warranty proposed). Only real criticism cable length (not changeable) that can be a little short on home use that will make a very good 4/5
Important: If you do not have USB 3 ports (no blue jacks on the computer) USB 3.0 hubs Nont no real interest (but still compatible). This does not give lUSB 3 to your post, have already taken the matter I prefer to specify here.
