Summary first:
Positives:
- Very stable / camera keeps superfirm / quick release plate is super / Small pack size despite decent size / foot angle adjustable / panoramic rotation function / class workmanship
Negatives:
- Ball head setting requires tact / No level / center column slightly screwed
Detailed Description:
The stand is very stable and keeps well my camera (EOS 1200D) firmly and wobble-free absolutely. You can adjust the feet at angles determined, so that you can easily take pictures very deep and high standing. For packaging his feet to be turned 180 ° and enclose the center column. Fully extended the tripod is still very stable and is about 1.50 m - 1.60 m high (estimated).
Personally I like the quick-release plate super. Once fixed to the camera - Never gone. Simply clip and tighten and fit. Battery and card compartment can still operate. The plate has a small thumbscrew. On tripod even have to press a little button and screw a screw - the camera does not fall out accidentally.
See the whole parts (and feel) very neat and are made of high quality material, as far as I can tell so far.
There are two screws on the ball head - one for the camera itself and to rotate the entire head (eg for panoramic or videos). Another fixed the quick release plate.
There are departures due to the lack of a spirit level. One can well in the Live View screen to align but 100 could the possibly expect.
Another minus point is the screw on the ball head. In principle, this loose or super tight - in between (eg for fine adjustment) rather difficult hinzubekommen.
And the last small drawback: If the screw for panoramic rotation to is, we nevertheless rotates, the screw of the ball head opens. This can be quite annoying, as you also sometimes unintentionally a bit rotates.
All in all, a decent outdoor tripod, which has only minor flaws for the price.
Hope I could help you,
