Previously I had the Artic Silver 5 on my AMD 6000+ X2 (Brisbane) CPU with the Scythe Samurai ZZ cooler. The Artic Silver 5 is normally a very good thermal paste, but which one is more suitable for aluminum radiator. I have taken out through this Wäremleitpaste Artic Cooling MX-2 again renewed 6 degrees cooling capacity, even immediately after the application. Thus, now I reach under load (Prime95) a maximum of 62 degrees with the first and 65 degrees with the 2nd core. When I think that I have achieved with the boxed cooler up to 88 degrees and with the Scythe Samurai ZZ cooler without the MX-2 71 degrees, I am very satisfied.
To paste itself: The paste is not electrically conductive, can be applied super light, has a good cooling capacity and is also reasonably priced.
As a little tip: Wear the Thermal Grease on the way it proposes Artic. A point in the middle of the CPU and the cooler top, slightly to the left and right turn in order to displace the air. Tighten cooler ready. Using this technique, I have so far always achieved the best cooling performance.
