TERMS & NOTICE
Now we use for some time to the manufacturer's Combo with whom I am employed as closer as with all previous fertilizer orchid fertilizer. Since I've had very good results with different fertilizers in the garden, but also here always much less than taking on the packaging indicated, I put the orchid fertilizer also significantly more economical one (50% of stage I on 1 liter of water).
Since most nutrients are present in an inorganic form of salts, they are responsible for a possible overdose of damage to the plant or the roots. The typical "burning" of the plant is produced when the leaves not received fertilizer water, salt crystals on the surface roots and they harm thereby.
Otherwise, we have changed neither the location of the plant, our casting behavior or the pruning of the stems. We are really impressed with how to grow our three orchids, how often they bloom. We see that there really are doing well.
I want to represent my previous findings at a glance.
BENEFITS
+ Accelerates the growth of leaves, stems and roots
+ Numerous, strong blossoms
+ More productive fertilizer (250ml rich with us about half a year for several orchids)
+ Well-vial dosing so that spillage is almost impossible
+ Accurate dosing based on the marks in the cap
+ PH ideally at 6, that plants absorb the nutrients only if the water is not too alkaline or too acidic
+ Due to the very good yield comparatively low
DISADVANTAGES
- Very high salt concentration (about 1,800 measured micro-Siemens), which is a more than three times the dose of the ideal value of 500 micro Siemens
In summary, I would say that the fertilizer of Compo is indeed very good, but the salt concentration is clearly too high. At a dilution of the fertilizer but then it must be ensured again that the nitrogen content is still sufficient. Our orchids feel the dosage described above, thinner but very comfortable. I would recommend this product under these precautions and draw a point due to the very high salt concentration.
