Even a 'normal' cable would have the task equally well resolved, but not nearly as noble and more susceptibility to cable breakage. For such a small fee, there's a recommendation from me for all those who bend protection and design is important. The 2-3 extra cost at a cheaper 1m cable, it would be me again, while the frequency functional benefits well (if at all) is likely to be hardly recognizable.
To fit:
As far as I understand it, there is only one Toslink (optical or ladder) size. The mentioned in another review 5mm vs 6mm refer MMN. to the diameter of the cable.
I use the cable to a Samsung h6890 and 4001 Marantz AV receiver. Fits right, does not wobble and there are no functional limitations.
