Now to the S'Cure:
It is through the new plastic material ("flow lite") Although not as light as the polycarbonate but noticeably lighter than my old suitcase. The case shells are accustomed to stable and closed even this is moisture-tight as to overlap the folds of the two halves and is provided internally with a sealing ring.
The material has exactly such properties as my old suitcase - the wall thickness and stability have a doubt and you do not immediately fear the same a scratch through the material and is a crack arises.
This trunk is nicely stable. So you can load up properly on both sides, then fold to sit on if need be, press the case halves in the fold latch open and ready!
The equipment is as described on the data side and very good quality. All moving parts (hinges, wheels, telescopic handle) are as stable and high quality as you would expect of such a case from Samsonite.
I am after 2 months of use with this S'Cure DLX very satisfied.
I have about 30 EUR extra charge over the simple S'Cure Spinner (without the "DLX") issued because me the look and design of the DLX simply like better. If compared to some high-gloss PC suitcases while still stuffy - but lasts sure the next 10years!
