As with the EOS 450D I am working with two sets of rechargeable batteries in the Battariegriff - once the original Canon and once supplied. Just as with the letzeten Battariegriff for 450 I can confirm for the 60 even with this grip that the supplied battery rival those from Canon to nothing. Although I have always a second set of batteries in my camera bag, but still came in any photo shoot for use - I could until now finish every day with the batteries, with whom I had started the day.
In a direct comparison of my old grip on the 450cc and this one I have to say that the handle on the 60 something is too clunky. Let's say so - the 450 was the Battariegriff just right and the 60 is almost a bit too big with the handle - but is certainly no fault of the manufacturer, but simply a fact due to the camera size. For portrait shots, the handle is essential especially in the 60s (compared to 450) - the additional trigger prevents cramps in the wrists.
