I use the receiver for about 2 weeks and am very satisfied. The image quality (HD and SD on HDMI) is great and also the switching times are very short. The install all applications worked smoothly. First, the public service programs ran smoothly and even after receipt of KD SmartCard private.
The most important function of the receiver works for me: the PVR function on an external hard drive. I have connected previously 2 Western Digital 500 GB hard drives, both of which were easily recognized and the shots have worked out great. But it is important that the plates are formatted FAT32, but which also takes on the receiver via the menu. Also two USB sticks have gefunzt easily.
The EPG is clear, small flaw in this case is that all programs is not equal to all EPG data are displayed immediately. This can be circumvented using the manual timer programming.
The receiver menu is ok, here I have seen in any case already Simpler menus with other devices, but deal to get, because the menu is not really in depth. After a few days you know each other without problems.
The receiver has no twin tuner, which means you can not switch to another channel to the receiver at a recording. I knew that but first, important to me was the PVR function (recording on external hard drive).
The only problem that I have first determined: if you have recorded a program, this has then deleted from the recording list and then wanted to go back to the menu or normal program, the receiver has now and then hung up first. This now happens not after I drangehÃĪngt a new WD hard drive and had freshly formatted.
All in all: strong buy recommendation! Price-performance top. About the little quirks described in the menu and the first recordings (problems after clearing) I like to ignore. 5 Stars!
