1. G4 12 high-power SMD LED Warm White 12 SMD of sebson media, diameter 30 mm, height 8.0mm.
2. Goobay 30334 LED Chip for G4 base with 10 SMD, diameter 30mm, height 9,3mm.
3. Here product offered:
LUMEN STAR SMD LED bulb G4 with 12 SMD warm white, diameter 30mm, height only 5.5mm !!
In my observations of the three components in terms of light color I have always judged to compare the color of the hands and the wood color of the furniture.
No. 1 corresponds to m. E. of the luminosity 20 W halogen. Unfortunately, the light has an unacceptable for me and my wife slight greenish tint. The light color corresponds with how I even was able to determine roughly where the transistor lights in motorhome.
In contrast, number 2 has a slightly lower level of illumination with 10 SMDs, but the tone has seemed more natural and closer to the under halogen light.
But in my opinion the most suitable is the product offered here by LUMEN STAR. The color on the hands and furniture best fits the case of halogen light, the light intensity (12 SMDs) is also comparable with 20W halogen. That after switching the color from my feeling each slight "reddish" has, but it disappears after about 1 to 2 minutes, is not a disadvantage for me.
Decisive for me was above all that the height of the chip is only 5.5mm. On the back only one sublime, good abgerücktes from the edge, rectangular component with approximately 3x4mm is. In order for the chip from the lumen STAR for installation in the "mini" emitters in the camper is ideal. For this I have only taken off the small spacers from the pins in order to better accommodate the 30mm diameter in the existing reflector. The existing frosted pane I will also trade for a clear glass, because the LEDs already have a good light scattering and light production can be safely improve again.
Compared to the previous consumption of 140 watts this now only at approx. 17.5 watts at 7 exchanged lights. The on-board battery will thank.
Excited about light intensity and color I wanted to try it quickly in the kitchen with a radiator of a 3-halogen-series (which are related to a 220 / 12V transformer) the chip also easy. Here, however, I got a surprise: after a few seconds, the component was burned through.
Please note the following:
The chip requires at 220V operation necessarily a matching transformer and LED can not be dimmed, as supplied on a delivery note is stated quite large.
Since I am completely satisfied, I will soon order these LED chips along with new transformers for the exchange in the kitchen and bathroom :-)
