From the first try on, I've found that the jacket is processed considerably improve over my previous clothing. Very good and that they at the sleeves a kind lining has for hands with hole to there durchzustecken thumbs. This will protect your hands and keep you warm, put on gloves I can do without at temperatures of zero to ten degrees or more. About this lining can be a sports / heart rate monitor wear, about the actual jacket.
In prevailing south German Winter (3-10 degrees Celsius, light wind) I wear the jacket over a sleeveless undershirt. After nearly 12km run at 7 degrees undershirt was slightly sweaty, the jacket dry and I warm. The arms were slightly cool but without that would have been unpleasant when running .A short rain shower could not harm me, everything remained dry.
For essentials the jacket has two pockets incl. Loops for attaching objects, eg keys.
