For our 5 year old son we were looking for a keyboard. All the children are keyboards but more toys than serious musical instrument and the quality mostly miserable. So looked the same at a "real" instrument manufacturer and the relatively small price you get a high-quality musical instrument at the mini-series from CASIO. Definitely not a toy! The housing of the keyboard is solid, stable and readily processed. The keys precisely and smoothly. The functionality of these "introductory class" almost perfect: 100 samples (sounds), 50 accompaniments (Styles) and 10 songs. In the songs / Rhythemn you can change the speed. Off the main melody in the songs (play along to themselves) or they can play 100 instruments / samples with one of. The 100 sounds cover a wide range from piano, organ, synthesizer, percussion, to samples such as train, wave noise, Vogelgezwitzscher, helicopters, ... Closing the Keyboard via headphones connected to a hi-fi system you can hear a much better sound quality than the (still neat) built-in speaker. A Laddung battery (6 * AA) holds about 2-3 days occasional playing. But with a separate 9V power supply (we have used our Sony wireless headphones) It's also network Bound with no time limit.
A great musical instrument for children with lots of great sounds to get to know and get started with a keyboard instrument. This small model is sufficient for our use. Want a magnification children / parents sometimes play / learn a larger model with more buttons is recommended.
