The new Dallmayr Crema d'Oro you get a classic, strong coffee. According to the manual is intended to prepare a capsule with 130 ml of water. My Dolce Gusto is an older model, in which you can regulate the amount of water manually / needs. I have therefore measured and found that this is the perfect amount for a cup of coffee out of my service the recommended 130 ml. The more rustic coffee cup from which I usually drink my coffee, so only about 2/3 full. My experiments with the amount of water have shown that the recommended 130 ml are indeed optimal: With less of the coffee is very bitter, with a lot more it tastes watery.
Like all Dolce Gusto varieties has prepared the Dallmayr coffee a nice crema and smells delicious. The taste is aromatic and powerful, but pleasantly mild. The package I find the way chosen somewhat unfortunate: the predominantly black box gives the impression that it would be a more bitter variety. This is actually not the case.
The Dallmayr Crema d'Oro tastes to me personally very well, but I can in relation to the existing and also very good coffee variants of Dolce Gusto recognize no revolutionary new flavor. Recommended I find him particularly for "classic" coffee aunts and -onkeln who like a slightly stronger coffee like and prefer drinking from smaller cups.
