Why only four stars:
As was written here by a previous speaker, I can not connect to the software on multiple PCs. But this is a precondition for the registration and updates (free maps). The Navi was simply not recognized correctly, there was no access to the memory of the device possible. (Drive is detected, but no content)
I wanted to send it back already, precisely because here already similar was described.
But then I tried the whole time with a newly set up system and lo and behold, everything without any problems.
After much trial and error the solution: the problem attempt took place on a PC without Avira Antivir. Otherwise all the same software and even the operating system. With this knowledge, I have brought it on another PC to run.
The real reason is not Antivir, but only the default in Antivir, the Autorun does not allow (except for CD / DVD).
If you deactivate this everything runs smoothly (with me).
