I have a very long time with the theme "Which TV is right for me?" employed. From the very beginning was the LG shortlisted.
I myself need the television for the following connection devices:
PC ................. (connected via HDMI)
PS3 ................ (connected via HDMI)
HD satellite receivers ..... (connected via HDMI)
Long I have dealt with it, if I should invest more money on a 100Hz TV.
However, I have not seen enough use to me in this technique, which justify the higher price at a 100Hz unit.
At most of the TV event (SAT) is the 100Hz technology now and then advantageous (tickers, etc.). However, this LG compensates with its 60Hz that the LG own technology more than adequate off - even tickers are displayed very well (in my opinion).
For the PlayStation and the PC anyway you do not need 100Hz - even the PS3 only 60Hz spits out!
Otherwise, the device is made very high quality. The piano lacquer with the simple but not boring design make the unit look very classy.
The speakers themselves are in my opinion also okay but could be better. However, I have connected my existing 5.1 system.
Very handy, I also found that even an antenna connection is available - which is as good as any newer equipment more available.
Even backlit scenes come the TV thanks to its own high brightness values perfectly clear!
The menu was in the beginning a bit complex, but I think this is now very logical and simple design - is just matter of habit.
Only the color black comes across a bit pale (more a dark gray). Who is this very important point, but should better anyway resort to a plasma television!
My Conclusion:
Anyone looking for a TV of this size, is for this price hardly what can get better.
Anyone who has dealt with the topic vs 100Hz 60Hz, and has come to the conclusion that 60 Hz would be sufficient should the strike in this television!
