The lower of the two available resolutions me suits made for office use, the highest resolution that can be used for small graphics work. The change of resolution via a dedicated button is a good point.
The finish is clearly improving.
For me it is a good product, with a quality / great price. Too bad the quality of the knob is down from the previous model.
COMMENTARY ON THE OLD VERSION
I use the mouse for a few weeks now, and although I'm used to the buttons, they are too hard. I had to change the settings for the double-click once on both my double clicks were not taken into account.
The position is nice, and I no longer feel the discomfort that I had the forearm with a horizontal mouse. The other buttons are very nice (especially the wheel), and mouse glides well on the mat.
It would be for me a faultless if the main buttons was as enjoyable as the others. The value remains good.
