Very good value for money 1

I bought it as a complement to the telephoto 18-135mm STM.
The decision is not last like it here because of the previous positive reviews. I have not looked back!
Already after the first pictures (it was already quite dark with high ISO), I had quite a grin on his face.
In the overlapping areas of focal lengths I will certainly use the preferred 55-250STM because the sharpness is better than the 18-135mm.

Processing handling:
- Nothing wobbles
- Zoom that runs tired and feels wertig
- Kunststoffbajonet that only time will tell, but I often times Change optics
But do not expect any problems, the lens is easy

Optical quality:
- Focus very well (insbsondere when considering the price)
- Focus quickly and silently
- Image Stabilizer I can not measure it though,
brings to my mind but the angegbenen
(User manual) 3.5 f-stops
- Cromatische aberration and vignetting is present
The problem really only when there is no RAW processing occurs and an older camera is used,
no integrated lens correction has. With foreign lenses but is no automatic
Lens correction.
In Rawbearbeitung with Canon's supplied DPP is an automatic correction,
Ligthroom 5 has the required profile, as there are no problems at all
Since I work exclusively in RAW is no problem for me.
- Aperture: I come from it, it is so often pointed out the Canon L zoom with continuous 4.0.
For that I get three of 55-250 STM, I can live easily with the compromise of a higher ISO value.
Here times the focal lengths and apertures to display:
4.0: 55- 60mm
4.5: 60-100mm
5.0: 100-150mm
5.6: 150-250mm
