As in the case of many, here described contributions, I have in my household the 2.4 W LEDs Goobay first in the
Cupboard-cabinet luminaires intended as a replacement of 20W Halogenbirnchen because these bulbs quite often and quite a long time "light".
My experiences are:
1. The light is despite designation "warm white" perhaps a little more uncomfortable than the usual halogen light, anyway
still much better than, for example, neon lamps. We soon got used to it.
2. The perceived "brightness" is completely sufficient (compared to the former 20W halogen bulb!)
3. During the period of 11 months since purchase now, there was no failure!
4. There is inevitable that in the re-use of an existing "electronic transformer" for conventional 12 V halogen bulbs are problems !!!! (These transformers typically require a "minimum load")
-> In my case, had in each parallel connection of several lighting points at least one with a conventional
Halogen bulb of 20 W will be charged! The other luminous bodies functioned then properly.

Zusmmenfassung:
- The offer 2.4 Watt LED lamps are highly suitable as a substitute for comparable 20W halogen bulbs.
- The price / performance ratio is (as of 2012) good!
- When connecting to existing transformers is üblichrweise to think of a minimum load, or the
Complete transformation has to be replaced, which then requires additional costs!
