Material and feel:
Prima processed, all the buttons work and have a corresponding pressure point. The Coolie Hats are "related" with a harder rubber, which prevents slipping.
The pad fits comfortably in your hand, all the buttons are easy to reach, no Fingerverknotungen necessary. Depending on the use you have now and then but to take a break because the hand may cramp.
The vibration function feels good, and works without any complaints. Commands are implemented without perceptible lag.
Installation and Compatibility:
Driver from the CD I have installed, and then the pad was recognized without difficulty. Windows Update has then an update installed. Also works perfectly and is also recognized in other games immediately.
The pad controlled 2 modes: XInput- and DirectInput.
Battery and Range:
The integrated battery keeps what the manufacturer promises. 6 - 10h gamble before you have to take a forced break for charging. (Or the USB cable to connect)
The range is great, there is no connection problems. (In my case sinds between the rear wall of the PC in the corner and couch 4m) I have found no dropouts - had me placed ready for an emergency even a USB extension cable for the receiver - totally unnecessary.
Criticisms:
- When charging, the LEDs flash at the front and this will blink according to the instructions at full battery condition set. But they do not, but blinking merrily on, even if you leave the cable connected overnight.
- Replaceable batteries would have been nice.
- When the battery ran out, and is recharged, I had already 2 times the reset button on the bottom press with a compass, because he no longer wanted to be connected to the receiver itself.
Summary:
Beautiful controller that does what it should with only small criticisms.
Super reception, reasonably long Time. Who buys Billigkram, makes clearly something wrong.
