Functionally, it also offers quite a bit!
The core functions are:
- Received FM radio station
- Receive DAB + Digital Radio
Stream music via Bluetooth from any compatible Bluetooth device -
- Two parallel clock switch, which you can also configure each to weekdays or data
- The clock sets itself automatically via the DAB + signal
- Timer function
Overall, the clock radio so has a considerable range of functions and can be more with it than one might imagine at first glance.
The sound of the clock radio is remarkable for its size and design. Especially the digital radio stations on DAB + listen to very clean and clear. Only the depths come with the device, but this is due to the design, too short. The sound is very clean, well coordinated and the device has a decent volume, but can not expect strong bass. However, this would possibly interfere with a radio alarm clock anyway. That will be a matter of taste.
Well I also like that you can operate the LCD display in three brightness levels. The brightest is too bright at night, and so I use the lowest setting. So I think it is very pleasant to read and a lot more pleasant in appearance than the classic red numbers on old clock radios.
Only the service is a bit tedious, as usual by older clock radios. While it is all explained in the manual, but the buttons are not explained when setting alarms by itself. Sometimes you need to individual buttons very often press until the alarms has configured as desired.
The Bluetooth function on the other hand is very simple and self-explanatory. Simply locate the radio with the smartphone or tablet, press couple and ready. Already you can stream music or control and even be deactivated remotely via the radio offered App (Apple AppStore).
Overall I am very satisfied with the device. Only direct operation of the device could be a bit better, but the radio still deserves full marks!
