I had previously tried some cheap tripods, really liquid pans were not possible. This tripod was a different world - very fluid, and it is for (approximately) 4 years still. The whole thing is very high quality and no comparison to the cheap plastic tripod.
The only drawback is (as already mentioned by another reviewer) is the screw of the tripod head, which often loosely revolves when panning. Then can the head a few centimeters almost without resistance back and wobbling, the pans are of course not as liquid. I once got the tip to do something glue on the screw that actually helped a little while. Still a bit annoying, so 1 star deduction - but the tripod is still worth the money and better just for the ambitious amateur filmmakers to worlds like jerky cheap tripods. What I can is with a heavier camera does not say, but both tripod and quick release plate make a very strong impression.
