by use of catchy Manfrotto MM294A4 294 Aluminum monopod with 3 drawers I would like to ask my review available.
First I want to point out that this is a VINE product tester review, although this is not listed as such. In VINE program I've picked out a tripod for test and mistakenly received the monopod. As a monopod can be used just in the sports sector and also partly in macro photography, it also corresponds to my desires of a tripod. The tripod I will review separately in the next few days also.
But now to the test:
The Manfrotto monopod with 3 drawers was delivered completely assembled. It comes with but no tilt was with quick release plate. However Manfrotto for example, offers the products as accessories.
The tripod can also be used without tilt head, but then it should be ensured that an application of the camera is always associated with some time. Once the camera (I use a Canon EOS 450D) attached, the tripod perfectly fulfills its purpose. Even with slightly heavier lenses such as the Canon EF-S 17-55mm lens is good and safe. The 3 extracts can of course be variably adjusted in height. After locking (especially in the middle of the exhaustion stage of an extract) the tripod keeps really bombproof.
Personally, I'm just 180cm tall or small (depending on the perspective) and will have me in completely extended tripod slightly bend. Should accordingly be much larger, perhaps I would have recourse to another tripod. For my size I get along very well with the tripod and its height. For macro photography you drive the tripod usually rather not completely made (yes you want the object to come a little closer). Therefore, the own size plays only a secondary role, because you usually can not always photographed in his desire position the required objects.
Conclusion:
Especially for the sports sector (for Mitzieher in automobile racing, for example), I can recommend the very monopod. It's very light, compact and the perceived quality is impeccable. Since the tripod nothing for my size and it can also can not influence, I will forgive but full 5 points. You should however consider before buying, because larger people might sometimes have problems.
Should you decide to buy the Manfrotto monopod, I wish you great shots and a secure footing.
If you have experienced this review for too one-sided, I apologize, but that is my subjective impression after
