The Marantz knows how to convince, it is for the competitive price from 230, - processed really cool and is also a visual delight! I stood in front of the competitors from Pioneer and Yamaha in retail and I must say I was really scared, as inferior, these devices are processed. Clear offer many competitors products with Wi-Fi network, Apps inflation and a colorful OSD many more things to which the Marantz does not control but honestly, how many times I need the OSD really? The large knobs and buttons feel with the devices from Pioneer and Yamaha absolutely spielig and shaky on! This deters, because the behavior of these knobs and keys after a few years in use? Go all the manufacturers really believe that one anyway makes everything with the FB? I think it's very important to get a reasonable response from the controls on the device itself .... and that makes the Marantz compared very good indeed. The buttons and controls are much better hung even if they only made of plastic are ebendfalls as the competitors. PRO: + Easy setup, after connecting all devices and to EinmessmikrofonSetup runs it all + OSD (OnScreenDisplay) + Provides for ordinary consumers an attractive and adequate performance (at Marantz it understates rather -> 5x50W are to be considered here superior!) + Good connectivity on front and back (next to HDMI & digital coax are also abundant analog audio + video RCA connectors, KlinkeAUX-in etc. available) + All the speaker terminals are screw terminals + Device display can be in operation even off + FB glows in the dark and is also very well made + A lot of sound options which enhance the sound considerably and expand the sound spectrum + Clear stereo sound (and surround sound) -in comparison to the old Pioneer A303R stereo amplifier + Turntable is connected via a preamplifier, am thrilled because no extreme Lautsprecherhübe (rumble) or even an oversteer occurs. Previously, this could only avoid circuit with impaired Bass level or a "Subsonic". CONTRAINDICATIONS: - Menu structure on the display and via OnScreenDisplay very simple and spartan, characterized some getting used to, but the most important is on board and configurable. - Slight "PSU squeak" no longer occurs in standby and during operation, at some distance for me but perceptible, so disturbs only in the immediate vicinity of the receiver. - No network connection
I think I'll have a lot of years of Fun & Joy with the device !!!
