Previously, I ran with a heart rate monitor with chest strap Polar. My running route leads past some high voltage pylons. There the polar clock froze regularly. It took minutes for the pulse was displayed correctly. Therefore, a new clock was needed. The TomTom can be explained by these masts fortunately undeterred and making its service more loyal. This is probably due to the fact that it requires no chest strap and the transmission over the wrist is not as susceptible to interference.
Positives:
- The clock will after a few seconds a signal (faster than my old Forerunner 205).
- Pleasant to wear, beautiful design.
- No chest strap.
- Very accurate GPS.
- Very good pulse rate measurement even near pylons; with me no problems with rain or perspiration.
- Interesting analysis options of the runs. Now the individual kilometer run will be settled on speed, pulse rate and level meters on the TomTom website.
Negatives:
- Very rarely, the pulse measurement spins a little: there have been incidents times that when running uphill the pulse went down, and vice versa; This happened so far but only very rarely and only for a few seconds. Why this may have been due, is beyond me.
Conclusion:
Very nice, well-functioning Running Watch that when she was only 50 euros cheaper, could be a nice Christmas present.
