Contrary to what is written in both reviews the interface is super efficient and intuitive. Just connect the AK to his PC via the supplied USB cable, the AK appears as an external disk, you will select the HD file in the PC music repertoire and a simple copy paste into the AK can transfer the all (3mn by HD mini album anyway ...). Everything is transferred with no pbl titles, photos pockets and good scheduling (I use the FLAC format).
No gadget, just efficient and very good sound, what more? Photos, animations? We are here to listen very beautiful music ride, right? And then the job is filled to 110%.
WIFI can easily retrieve updates automatically proposed (latest firmware that provides the full french menu).
Be careful though to the ears, the sound level can quickly be very high and it would be nice to have control or Db max limit.
Regarding helmets, drive it without my little pbl Sennheiser Momentum output (and elsewhere reveals its relative mediocrity), when the AKG K701, loss of power reserve is very clear, but pushing the volume is compensated quickly and the result is really impressive.
Three small regret:
1) 64 GB storage quite limited especially since the OS already consumes close to 10, but it can store still almost 30 albums HD (Flac 24/96), I ordered a micro HD 128 to complete but that adds 80 to the adition.
2) Autonomy 12/14 hours a bit limited
3) Slow OS to start
Three big satisfactions
1) Quality outsized with HD and exceptional with well ripped CD (I use DB Power amp)
2) Very portable and "user friendly"
3) High quality finish with beautiful design (although this is subjective)
In short, if you can afford to have fun ... otherwise it remains the X5 Fiio which must be a valid alternative for half the price
