We bought this book for our 6- and 8-year-old boys to teach them the English language a little bit closer. But the book is well suited. Of course they do not understand everything at once, if you read to it. But we made it so that we translate them the stories the first time in German and then only read in English. The fact that they are simply written, they can already understand quite a bit of it. The book is an anthology of stories 6, and therefore has a good price-performance ratio. The very first story fits well with the knowledge of our children, as it constantly revolves around colors (The Hangover Witch is alternately cast by its original black color in various other colors.) The colorful pictures are beautiful and easier for boys understanding. Overall, highly recommended.
