I wanted my TV sound aufmöblen because it's internal TV speakers to wealth, bass and treble missing. So I tried out Sound Bars: Teufel Cinebar 11, JBL SB 400, Harman Kardon SB 26 and these same Sony. One thing I can ever say: the Sony sounds the worst by far. Now from the last detail: The Soundbar is very flat and has extremely small speakers, I had the mind already in building this would sound good. The subwoofer is relatively large, but equipped with a lot of plastic, and relatively easy .... again a bad sign. Now I have everything connected with HDMI and playing with the settings. The result was extremely disappointing. The soundbar itself sounds quite weak, the centers, so the most important thing for a whopping vocal reproduction, missing almost entirely, for that there are far too many high-frequency sibilance. But the worst of the subwoofer was his if I may call it that bass. Virtually no draft, and especially totally locatable because it reproduces even voices still quite good. The crossover frequency is much too high, and can of course also choose to not. Furthermore, the peculiar plastic cover at higher volumes that begins to rattle. So really by far the worst I've ever heard the subwoofer. The equipment ansich is really good: many ports, current decoder (True HD and DTS HD) Bluetooth but what brings a all, when the sound actually sounds totally unnatural, tinny and artificially. So sorry if people say of this combination a good sound, they have never heard of a reasonably normal sounding stereo.
Incidentally, the other from me sound called Sound Bars significantly more mature, just the subwoofer. The devil has very good middle (speech intelligibility) and a relatively good subwoofer. But the bass boxes of JBL and Harman playing again much stronger and deeper. For the Harman has the problem with the fine volume control. So far, the JBL is ahead, which unfortunately does not decode DTS soundtrack and currently more and more Blu rays have this soundtrack.
Now the Canton DM 900 is still being tested, which also costs significantly more.
Sorry but the value for money of Sony did not work, this weak sound idea may not even cost half.
