I am since the summer of 2005 the owner of a Targus CN600 - Thanks to the "lifetime warranty" Targus but now the Third, and also is broken again. The good news first: like the other reviewers I also find the CN600 very spacious, excellent split and very well thought out. The many small drawers and compartments allow the user, all the little things you need to carry around in daily life, to tuck in their own place and avoid long rummage. Especially the lovely details like the removable laptop sleeve, the headphone output or keychain carabiner make this backpack an excellent companion for any situation. The big drawback for me is however the lack of durability. I am very surprised that now 10 other reviewers praise the model, but has no one noticed the problem. I can not imagine that I burden my backpack so extraordinary to me; I use it only a day, and I have a large and correspondingly heavy laptop to carry around - what should be okay, because it is a laptop backpack is finally made. The weaknesses of the CN600 are the zipper of the main compartment, the outer material and the seams. With daily stress goes with me a good year before the first problems with the zipper emerge; usually he is just beginning to pinch, to then open with some tension on their own. In my current third backpack after the same period, the seam of the large main zipper is pulled so that the main subject is now permanently a large "air hole" has; However, it is also so that the upper of the current backpack considerably smoother and thinner than it was in 2005 and 2008 (the first replacement model); then cracks and holes have occurred only after more than two years.
Actually, I would for a laptop backpack that holds only for a year, want to give a significantly lower rating - because the model can be divided so lovingly-designed and as it wants, but a backpack is finally not a disposable item. What is the assessment of the CN600 saves for me the excellent warranty Targus who delivered me up to now, both times on my complaint about the Targus website out quickly and easily a replacement copy. Compared with the similarly mounted warranty by Eastpak, in one his backpack for repair needs (and thus make handling costs and has to bridge a period without a rucksack), I am of this customer-friendly so impressed that I would still make a mean score ,
